[ARCHIVED] Open Book and Assessment Review

The City of Hudson proposed 2013 assessment roll (values as of January 1, 2013) has been completed. If there is a proposed value change for any parcel, a Notice of Assessment was mailed to the property owner on Monday, August 19, 2013. The notice includes information as to how to make an appointment with an assessor during ‘Open Book’ sessions and ‘Board of Review’ if necessary.

The proposed values will be posted on the County’s website and at www.assessordata.org (with a link on the city’s website) by Monday, August 26. You can also contact Bowmar Appraisal at 800-303-2090, via email at Bowmar-ec@sbcglobal.net or by fax at 715-835-0417 to check on your value and with any other questions regarding the value. A proposed assessment roll will also be available at City Hall, 505 Third Street, on the Third Floor, starting Monday, August 26.

If you wish to meet with an assessor to review your value, an appointment can be made for an ‘Open Book’ meeting on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. or Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. These appointments should be schedule with Bowmar Appraisal by calling 800-303-2090.

If you want to schedule a Board of Review determination, you must contact Nancy Korson, City Clerk, at 715-386-4765, ext. 140 to obtain details for filing the appropriate paperwork and to make an appointment with the Board Review who will meet on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

After the Board of Review adjourns, the assessment roll values will be certified for 2013 and will be used for processing tax bills in December.
