Per ordinance §229-11 (7), the City of Hudson is responsible for maintaining and removing all public trees located within the right of way. Therefore, Public Works crews will handle the boulevard trees over the next couple of weeks. For those trees and/or limbs located on private property, the homeowner has two options.
Option 1 – Hire a local tree removal service to assist with cleanup including hauling away material.
Option 2 – Haul tree material to the marshalling yard located at Prospect Park (400 Wisconsin St.). We will not be accepting stumps.
The City will hire a company the week of May 8th to haul away the marshalling yard brush pile. Once the debris is hauled from the site, additional debris or brush will not be accepted.
NOTE: The mulch pile that is currently on site at this location is open to the public.
