I have been in contact with representatives from the Governor’s office discussing my request for possible state assistance. At this time everyone involved will continue to monitor this ever changing situation before determining if additional assistance is required. As always, my goal is to be as prepared as possible for all potential situations using the information provided to us from our law enforcement partners. We have had no direct threats to our City and no incidents have occurred but we will continue to be ready to respond to any situation that may arise.
