The City of Hudson contacted Advanced Disposal regarding the past due amount that is present on most residential customer bills. In addition, the City wants to provide clarification on the change in the regular billing amount.
The current billing amount shown on the bill recently received reflects the increase built in to the contract for 2018. This current billing is for the second quarter of 2018 (April to June) and this amount should remain the same for the July and October bills.
The past due amount was placed on the bill due to the fact that Advanced DID NOT increase the billing amount set forth in the contract for the first quarter of 2018 when they sent bills out in January. They did not charge any late fees on this amount, since it was their error.
