Holiday Parking Downtown

November 29^th, 2024, at 8pm through January 2^nd , 2025 until 10am 

Tis the Season for Holiday Parking! During this time, you can park your vehicle UP TO 3 HOURS FREE. After the 3 hours is up, you WILL be required to pay for additional time. Holiday parking allows citizens and visitors to come downtown and show for the holidays while supporting local businesses.

Holiday Parking FAQ

1. When I park downtown during the holiday season, will I need to go to a pay station to register my license plate for the 3 hours?
   1. No, the only time you need to approach the pay station or use the Passport Parking Application is if you will be staying longer then 3 hours.
2. Will parking be enforced during the holidays?
   1. Yes, parking will be enforced Monday- Saturday 10am to 8pm.
   2. Sundays are FREE, as well as the following dates:
      1. December 24, 2024 & December 25, 2024
      2. December 31, 2024 & January 1, 2025
3. Why did I receive a parking citation/ warning?
   1. You stayed longer than your 3 hours and did not pay for additional time.
4. I have a parking permit for downtown Hudson, will the holiday parking affect that permit? 
   1. No, your permit will stay active, and you will be required to park in the designated parking lots.
5. I already receive free parking with my senior parking permit, or handicap tag. How will the holiday parking affect me?  
   1. Senior parking permits holders receive 3 hours free with their permits, if you want to extend your parking session you will be required to pay at the pay station or the Passport Parking Application.
   2. Handicap Parking, you will be able to park for free, all we ask is that you respect the 3 Hour parking rule, you will NOT be required to pay for extra time.
