I have received some questions about the Golden Rule bookmarks that were placed in the recently received City utility bills. My Golden Rule Initiative is a way to promote the principle of treating others the way you would want to be treated – treating people in or everyday conversations with respect. One of the ways I am getting this message out is through the distribution of bookmarks. The bookmarks you received in your utility bill were paid for by me. The workers who placed the bookmarks into the envelopes were paid for by me. No taxpayer dollars were used in this effort. I will continue to pursue ways to get my Golden Rule message out to the public and I look forward to seeing this movement grow over the coming year.
