Ordinance 7-24: 2024 Board of Appeals Code Amendments

Variance appeal applications are considered by the Board of Appeals on an as-needed basis. On September 3, 2024, the City of Hudson Common Council updated Municipal Code §255-90 and §255-91 related to the Board of Appeals. Please ensure any variance applications meet the standards set by Ordinance 7-24.

Application & Related Documents

To begin a variance/appeal process, applicants submit a completed application with fee. City staff will review the proposal with the applicant prior to scheduling the meeting. The process generally takes 45-60 days because of the coordination of schedules, publication requirements of the notice and notification of surrounding property owners.
