The Downtown Parking Utility Commission has extended the removal of temporary curbside to-go spots date from April 5, 2021, to May 1, 2021. The change in date allows the City to accommodate curbside to go parking in these spaces up to the beginning of the Highway 35/2nd Street reconstruction project. Additional details on the construction project, including timelines, will be provided once more information from WI DOT and the contractor is available.
May 1st, 2021 restaurants and businesses will be required to remove all signs and cones from the street.
If you were issued cones and signs from the City of Hudson, please make sure to place them on the curb and they will be picked up.
After the Hwy 35 project is complete, there will be additional 15 min parking spots located on each block in the downtown area. The current 15-minute spots will remain in place.
A reminder to all businesses that currently have curb-side to-go spots, please make sure to reach out to the Parking Department if you have cars that are parked longer than 15 minutes and are unoccupied. Curbside to-go spots are meant for customers to drive up and have items brought out to them. Customers are to remain in their car. Please make sure that your staff are not parking in those spots as well. Employers and employees are encouraged to purchase a parking permit at the Police Department (101 Vine Street, Hudson WI).
