Yesterday, an emergency meeting of the Hudson Area Public Library Board was held and the decision to close the Library was made. This decision was not made lightly, but the health and safety of the patrons is a priority. Therefore, the Hudson Area Public Library will be closed beginning, Sunday, March 15, 2020, and will reopen when the school district opens again, which is anticipated to be April 6, 2020.
Please note that, until further notice, the library will make every effort to provide materials requested through
the Library’s online catalog. THIS IS SUBJECT TO REEVALUATION AND MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME!
"We are encouraging the use of our digital materials and resources, at this time. Patrons are encouraged to visit our website: www.hudsonpubliclibrary.org to access our digital resources including Wisconsin’s Digital Library and Tumblebooks available at https://hudsonpubliclibrary.org/resources/. We are exploring virtual story-time options, as well." - Tina Norris, Library Director.
